Ingredients
  

  • pounds fresh Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic peeled and halved
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar or maple syrup
  • ¼ cup chopped cooked bacon optional
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh thyme sprigs for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, cut sides down for best caramelization.
  4. Roast for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden-brown and crisp on the edges.
  5. Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic vinegar or maple syrup. Toss gently to coat.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bacon bits, then garnish with fresh thyme.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
